Frequently asked questions

Is window tinting legal in Maryland?

Yes, window tinting is legal, but each state has specific regulations regarding the allowable tint percentage for different windows. We ensure all of our tint installations comply with Maryland laws. Feel free to ask us about the legal limits in your area!

How long does it take to install window tint?

The installation process typically takes between 2 to 5 hours, depending on the size of your vehicle and the number of windows being tinted.

What’s the difference between the tint percentages (5%, 15%, 20%, etc.)?

The percentage refers to the amount of light that passes through the tint. For example, 5% is the darkest and allows only 5% of light through, offering maximum privacy, while 70% is the lightest, allowing 70% of light in with minimal tinting.

How long should I wait before rolling down my windows after tinting?

We recommend waiting at least 3-5 days after installation before rolling down your windows to allow the tint film to fully adhere and cure.

Will window tinting affect my visibility at night?

Tinting can slightly reduce visibility at night, especially with darker tints like 5% or 15%. However, lighter tints such as 35% and 50% are designed to minimize glare without significantly impacting nighttime visibility.

Is there a warranty for your window tinting services?

Yes, all of our tint installations come with a limited lifetime warranty covering issues like bubbling, peeling, and fading. We stand by the quality of our work to ensure your satisfaction.
