Frequently asked questions

What does wax do for my car’s paint?

Car wax provides a protective layer on top of your vehicle’s paint, shielding it from harmful elements like UV rays, dirt, and moisture. The wax creates a smooth, hydrophobic surface that repels water and makes it harder for dirt and contaminants to stick to the paint. In addition to protection, waxing enhances the appearance of your car by giving it a glossy, polished finish. Regular waxing helps preserve the paint’s condition, prevents oxidation, and extends the lifespan of your car’s exterior, keeping it looking shiny and new.

How long does the wax protection last?

Our high-quality wax typically lasts 2 to 3 months, depending on weather conditions and how often you drive your vehicle. If your car is regularly exposed to harsh elements like direct sunlight or road salt, you may need to reapply wax sooner.

What’s the difference between a hand wash and an automatic wash?

A hand wash is a more thorough and careful process where we pay attention to all parts of your vehicle, including hard-to-reach areas. Unlike automatic car washes, which can cause scratches or leave soap residue, a hand wash ensures your car is cleaned without damage and leaves no residue behind.

How often should I get my car washed and waxed?

We recommend getting a wash and wax every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain your vehicle’s appearance and protection. Regular waxing helps protect your car’s paint from UV rays, water spots, and environmental pollutants, while frequent washing prevents dirt buildup and keeps the car looking clean.

Will the wax protect my car from scratches?

While wax adds a protective layer to your car's paint, it won't prevent all scratches. However, it can help minimize the appearance of minor scratches and swirls by creating a smooth, shiny surface. For deeper scratches, we recommend paint correction services.

Can I wash my car immediately after it’s been waxed?

It's best to wait at least 24 hours before washing your car again after waxing to allow the wax to fully bond to the surface. This ensures maximum protection and shine.
